From 1950s Negotiations to a Mosta Landmark
Joe Auto Dealer's story begins in the 1950s, when Carmelo Attard negotiated vehicles during Malta's post-war years — a time when finding the right car meant knowing the right people.
His son, Joseph Attard, learned the trade at his father's side, and in 1970 opened Joe Auto Dealer from a small showroom in Burmarrad. The family became known locally as "ta' Karlinu".
For over thirty years, Joe personally dealt with every client — a standard the next generation continues today.

The business has expanded from a small garage in Burmarrad to two large showrooms on Constitution Street in Mosta, sitting directly opposite each other. Across multiple levels, the dealership now offers a wide selection of carefully chosen vehicles — Japan imports, U.K. imports and local cars — under one trusted family name.
